Fireman in Riviera Maya

We are a non-government group of volunteers supporting the fire department in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

This system works exactly like a travel agency, but 100% of its comissions are directed to finance the fire department.
The comission granted to the fire department will be from the 15% of the total of the hotel reservation

The cost of your vacation is exactly the same with us as if you reserve directly or through another travel agency that earns its comission for its own profit.

Bomberos de la Riviera Maya

Our history

Bomberos de la Riviera Maya was first conceived in 1995 as a bucket brigade. In 1998 the Mayor appointed 8 local men with no fire fighting experience to become our dept.

I am Brian Borjesson, my wife and I are from California and have lived in Mexico for 10 years. I was appointed by the Mayor as Commandant / Chief of the Fire Department in Playa del Carmen almost six years ago. I’m also President of the Bomberos de la Riviera Maya A.C. & President of the Bomberos & Civil Protection, Quintana Roo I.A.P.
